Extra Info: Fantastic Album !! High quality Re issue on Rhino with superb audio + inner sleeve ... unplayed ... i just opened to see if this album has the correct 'CB' (Chris Bellman's initials) in the deadwax. I also got a sealed copy if you are interested / just let me know.
Normally, i am not a fan of re-issues, but you may want to file those cherished but worn LP copies and replace them with the much appreciated reissues from Rhino. Why? It is a great sounding re-issue!

But I also think the *sound* on these is quite stunning. Chris Bellman's name is one I hold in HIGH regard (the Grateful Dead vinyl box from last year, the Tom Petty RSD reissues, etc.) These sound like they were mastered with love!
The 2011 Rhino has a certain smoothness to it, much larger sounder, better handle on the bass. Its the drums that really stand out and slam, great dynamics (snare sounds great). Excellent details!
Rhino really did a great job on these. I am hereby retired from trying to find mint originals.
There are several variances of the Rhino re-issue. Make sure you get your hands on the European versions of the first 4 LPs and they have 'CB' (Chris Bellman's initials) in the deadwax, check again and see if you can see CB on yours. These are the best playing!
