Lot of vintage 78 records and related - Featuring an original Chinese Pathe 78 rpm # 35645, pressed in India. When it turns up, a nice copy of this one sells for $1500 or more just by itself!

ZHOU, CHOU or CHOW HSUAN or XUAN (周璇 )

" 夜上海 / 星心相印(姚敏合唱 "

The greatest song by goddess ZHOU XUAN! Stunning vocal with band. This record more than any other symbolized Shanghai as the “Paris Of The East!” A great classic by songwriter CHEN GEXIN. E+ (Near Mint) glossy condition except for some old tape residue on one side's label. With its ORIGINAL 2-sided insert; plain heavy sleeve. Plays Excellent!

I do not read Chinese, nor do I have a way to have these translated

PLUS a consecutive numbered 2 record set on MEE SHING Record label M-405; female vocals, in separate generic company paper sleeves with folded insert (holiday?), E+ condition.

PLUS Lucky Records L 205 (laminate crack - both sides played for me, but I make no guarantee this will survive shipping and handling) instrumental medley with insert. Plain sleeve, as are all the remaining.

PLUS 5 different what I will call “Red label” records, many with 1-3 word handwritten description on labels and/or retailer stamp, some with insert.  #274-A (1912 G.S.) could be considered female vocal jazz, with piano & clarinet.  Most are female vocal, in various VG+ to E+ conditions, plain sleeves.

PLUS Tokyo Records C-1235 “A Night of China”, 1930's (a Japanese organization titled the “Pacific Bureau of New Musical Study” pressed this label in the USA until WW2) (this was also released on a black label with the catalog number C 114 and flip Ame Ni Saku Hana), female vocal and instrumental sides, E+ condition.

PLUS a 12" Audiodisc home recording, labeled Henry Ling (?) on one side. A'capella male vocal. Coated metal acetate - not pictured

AND a stack of about 30 misc. loose inserts or flyers, some with pictures, from various record labels; most have the stamp of the “Tien Sau Tong” company of Hong Kong. Mostly excellent condition

So, this is a lot of 10 vintage 78's – 9 are nice + the cracked Lucky disc (may still play, depending on your equipment) + one 12" 78 acetate + the inserts lot.
