The Beatles ‎– Please Please Me LP, Mono, Album, Gold & Black Label, 1963.
From the private collection of the original purchaser who bought it new following it's original release in 1963. This item is in excellent condition . The edges are sharp and clean with a slight knock to the upper top left corner that I have tried to show in the photographs. The leading edge has the usual slightly rough texture where the laminate ends and meets the card with two or three 1-2cm "wrinkles" in the laminate that is usual with laminated sleeves. I grade the sleeve as Ex+. The vinyl is clean and unmarked with very little damage to the centre hole and no spindle marks. There are a few light marks on the vinyl none of which interfere with playback. There is a slight crease in the label which would have occurred when it was applied . It doesnt show up on the photos but for complete honesty I have included it in this description.
Stampers are XEX 421-1N and XEX 422-1N
On play back on our Project /Ortofon 2M Blue combination there is a little noise on the lead up groove however this disappears as soon as the music starts and does not manifest between tracks.

The record will be sent tracked and insured to the successful bidder

Following feedback from a number of people I have checked with the owner regarding the sleeve. Apparently he swapped the sleeve for a newer one however he does retain the original. I will upload photos of this before Saturday and the record will be supplied with both sleeves.

We now have the original sleeve for this record. Please note that it is graded as VG+ and has a small amount of blue smudged writing on the rear sleeve. Unfortunately because this listing is within the last 24 hours I cannot add to the listing. Please message me if you would like photographs.
