This is a record album from the late 1940's or early 1950's featuring the great Parisian chanteuse, Edith Pilaf. Included in this album are Four 78 RPM records (eight sides) including the famous hit "La Vie En Rose". The 2007 Piaf biographical film of the same name brought an Acdemy Award for Best Actress for Marion Cotillard. This album was produced by Columbia records and is "Set f-5" titled "Chansons Parisiennes". The records in this album are in very nice condition with no visible wear or scratches. The hardcovered covers of the album have some general wear particularly on the edges. I'm guessing at the year - I know from the biographical blurb on the inside cover that it is post-World War II, but before the era of 45's and 33 long playing vinyl records which came out in the 1950's.
