New Order Brixton 2&3 May 2012 rare official live poster limited edition Factory
This is a rare, limited edition, individually numbered, official poster produced specifically for the two New Order concerts at London's Brixton Academy on 2nd and 3rd May 2012. It is a stylish and colourful angular design, in a style perhaps influenced by and reminiscent of Peter Saville. Possibly a forerunner to the Music Complete design. The only information to feature on the angular, blocky red, white, blue and black graphic is the band's name, the venue and the dates. This is not the same as the tour poster that was on sale from the band's official site as that featured dates for the whole tour and a similar but different design. This poster is also hand-numbered in pencil at the bottom. It appears to be limited edition of only 220 copies across the two nights which, when you consider the Academy holds just under 5000, means that very few people got their hands on them. It is possible that the hand written number is 720 but even then it is a small edition to sell to an audience of nearly 10000. The poster is printed on good quality thick card and would look amazing framed. It measures approx 23 1/4" X 16 1/2" [ 60cms X 42cms] and is new and previously undisplayed. It will be posted in a strong cardboard tube.
