“THIS IS CONSIDERED TO BE THE WORLD'S FIRST JAZZ RECORD. LIVERY STABLE BLUES AND DIXIE JASS BAND ONE-STEP BY ORIGINAL DIXIELAND JASS BAND. VICTOR RECORD 18255 RECORDED FEBRUARY 26, 1917. RECORD HAS BEEN CLEANED WITH A VPI RECORD CLEANING MACHINE. IT IS IN VG CONDITION. THERE ARE SIGNS OF PREVIOUS ENJOYMENT. PLEASE SEE PICTURES. PERSONNEL INCLUDED NICK LAROCCA, EDDIE EDWARDS, LARRY SHIELDS, HENRY RAGAS TONY SBARBARO.IN THE LIVERY STABLE BLUES THE HORSE NEIGH OR WHINNY WAS PRODUCED BY HOLDING DOWN THE THIRD VALVE OF CORNET AND SHAKING THE HORN. THE CLARINET EMITTED A ROOSTER CROW AND THE TROMBONE A DONKEY BRAY. THIS RECORD IS A LOT OF FUN TO LISTEN TO. A Victor sleeve is included.
