Hank Mobley Peckin' Time mono Blue Note 1574 47W63 label, deep groove, RVG and P in runouts, beaded rim, 47W63 on back of laminated cover with printed spine
Hank Mobley (ts), Lee Morgan (t), Wynton Kelly (p), Paul Chambers (b), Charlie Persip (d) Recorded 1958
The record looks VG to VG+ and plays close to VG+. There's a moderate amount of light scuffing and hairline marks on both sides. No deep scratches. Grooves do not show damage or a lot of play. A few spindle marks on both labels. Record plays very enjoyably with occasional light ticking, not constant, some light surface noise during quiet passages and no distortion.
LISTEN TO THE SOUND CLIPS BELOW from beginning, middle and end of each side of the actual record. NO sound fix up. Recorded with a stereo cartridge will sound better using a mono cartridge or switch
The cover is VG+.
The front cover has moderate wear and light ring wear. There's two small areas of discoloration, maybe mold or maybe scuffs in the middle top and bottom. The back cover has moderate wear, fading, some staining along the spine and some writing. Corners are dented with heavy wear spots. No split seams. Spine is intact and readable.
Black lines that might be visible at bottom left and top right in pictures are due to photo cropping and not on cover.
My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied. No hassles.
