Ultra rare original guaranteed 100% authentic very early true 1t East Coast Mono pressing of “Meet the Beatles!” in a baggy sealed condition. This copy is coming from a private collection and thanks to the professional storage is in impeccable condition. Original thick cardboard single type paste over cover with the very early 1st dark brown 'Beatles' banner. The 1st version cover without the 'George Martin, Producer' credit. Very early 1st press with the RIAA 3 Identification Number on the back cover, identifying it as a Capitol Records, Scranton, PA, Pressing Plant issue. The cover is in fantastic condition without any wear or splits. All of the 4 corners are sharp without any wear and the spine is rigid with a fully readable text. This copy comes from a record collector and contains an original authentic unused promotional teaser "The Beatles Are Coming!" wigs sticker, which you could affix to the album yourself if you wanted to. (Please see the close-up photos of the sticker, included in the listing) These orange & white Capitol promotional "teaser" stickers are among the earliest known items of Beatles memorabilia. The 3" x 2" stickers were designed to be placed by Capitol salesmen on "any friendly surface as you walk down the street". This was part of Capitol's initial January 1964 Beatlemania blitz to promote the release of the Meet The Beatles album and I Want To Hold Your Hand single. The stickers were made in large quantities in rolls of 250, and very few unused stickers exist today. This listing includes a vintage two-sided scan copy of the original December 1963 Capitol Records memo from Paul Russell, the National Album Merchandising Manager, to sales managers and regional managers, outlining the initial "Beatles Campaign". The memo contains a lot of interesting, important and historical information about the promotional items issued and their planned uses and release dates. It's extremely hard to find this album in such a great condition. Original Capitol Records T-2047 mono catalog number black label with a multicolored spectrum ("Rainbow") band along the label's edge without the "subsidiary" print. Original Capitol Records Royal Blue printed paper inner sleeve with adverts for other Capitol Records releases is seen at the mouth of the cover through the intact baggy wrap. Fantastic capsule copy from a private collection.

POLICY:

Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description. I'll use my right to block a buyer, who doesn't correspond to my idea of politeness, culture and respect toward each other. If you want to participate in my auction, please be honest and positive, and I'll be mutual with you. I'll remove the bids of a buyer with zero rating, unless he contacts me prior to placing a bid.
